Co-founder, Vaxess Technologies
Valenti co-founded Vaxess Technologies, a company that brings vaccines to patients in the developing world through an innovative technology that stabilizes the vaccines so they can be shipped and stored without refrigeration. Vaxess has raised more than $5 million in venture capital since its founding in 2011. The company received first prize in the Harvard President’s Challenge for Social Entrepreneurship (2013) and the Harvard Business School New Venture Competition (2013). Valenti was named to the “Forbes 30 under 30” list in the science and health care category. Before coming to HKS, Valenti worked for the United Nations in several developing countries, where he advised government clients and international financing institutions in the identification, appraisal, and financing of large investment projects. Valenti received his undergraduate degree in public administration and economics from Bocconi University (Italy) and two MS degrees in international management from Bocconi University and Fudan University (China).
