Aleem Ahmed MPA 2015
Co-founder, CEO, and Chair, Love Grain
Before coming to the Kennedy School and MIT Sloan School of Management to earn his joint MBA/MPA, Ahmed was a senior program associate on the Teff Value Chain Program at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency, which helped three million farmers increase their yields. Before that, he was the program development manager at the Innovations for Poverty Action’s Safe Water Program in Kenya, which expanded safe water access to 500,000 people. He is co-founder, CEO, and chairman of the Love Grain Company, a social enterprise that connects small-holder teff farmers to consumers who appreciate their nutrient-rich harvests. Aleem began his career as a management consultant and has a bachelor’s degree from Haverford College.
